Yes the AHAs and BHAs in Exfoliating Cleanser were formulated to work effectively together to achieve radiant, glass-like skin. 

For the skintellectuals: There are just over 2% AHAs (a combination of Lactic and Citric Acid) and under 1% BHA (Salicylic Acid), which are both skin-friendly and effective. Both AHAs and BHAs act as skin exfoliants, both chemical and physical with small water-soluble beads. In effect, this means that AHAs work on the skin's surface, while BHAs work within the pores.
